Heart-Centered Decision Making

Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, torn between your thoughts and the whisperings of your heart? I know I have.

For most of my life, all of my decisions were based on pressure and shame and worrying about what other people would think of me. I had been conditioned to operate from a place of external pressure, seeking validation and approval from others, while ignoring the gentle nudges of my own intuition.

Because of this, when I started to truly love myself, I found myself very lost.

I was no longer willing to direct my life with shame and an externalized sense of self, but I didn’t know how to operate any other way.

This is when I discovered the transformative power of heart-centered decision making!

Tapping into the wisdom in my heart has helped me to reconnect with a sense of authentic motivation within me, to create my own definition of success and to love myself through each and every day on my way to the more aligned and resonant goals that I have for my life.

My heart is truly my greatest guide on this journey of loving myself and becoming more authentically me.


Science Meets Intuition: The Little Brain in the Heart

Your heart is so much more than a pump!

Scientists have actually discovered that there are intelligent, brain like cells that exist in your heart and operate independently from the brain in your head. They call this neural network in your heart “the little brain in the heart” and it sends far more information to the brain in your head than the brain sends to it.

There are also studies that suggest that this little brain in the heart is a key component to our intuitive intelligence.

So, when we engage in heart-centered decision making, we are tapping into a deep intelligence within.
