Accept Yourself As You Are

 
 

Learning to accept yourself as you are can be so difficult, but it’s key to self-love, inner peace, self-honesty and living an authentic life. Today, I’ll be talking about how to more deeply embrace your imperfections and meet yourself where you are so you can increase your self-acceptance and empower your healing journey. 

In this video, I talk about why self-acceptance is so important and guide you through a healing exercise using Havening techniques and iffirmations to help you accept yourself as you are in a deep and meaningful way.

What is self-acceptance?

Accepting yourself as you are means adopting a compassionate and kind attitude towards yourself. It means acknowledging and honoring your authentic needs, feelings and desires in each moment. And it means getting in touch with and taking compassionate care of all parts of yourself - even the parts that seem confusing, upsetting, embarrassing or “bad”.

  • I’m open to the possibility of accepting myself.

  • I’m ready to change how I perceive myself.

  • More and more, I’m choosing to accept myself where I am and as I am.

  • More and more, I choose me.
